VLAs vs world models

My read is that the field is moving from VLAs toward world models. My data background maps most naturally onto the VLA, policy and data-quality world, where most applied roles live, while world models are hotter in the frontier-research framing. Still an open fork for where I put my own learning and building hours. My argued position is not written yet.
